Ryoji Koie
 
鯉江良二はイギリス、アメリカ、オーストラリア、スペイン、韓国など、世界各国を旅してきました。陶芸を通して現地の人々と交流し、作られた作品を中心に自由で人間味溢れる作品の数々。伝統を踏まえつつも自由な造形で土と火の躍動感溢れる鯉江ワールドをご堪能くださいませ。

1938　 愛知県常滑市に生まれる
1957　 常滑高校窯業科卒業
1962　 常滑市立陶芸研究所に入所
　　　   現代日本陶芸展課題作品入賞
1963 　朝日陶芸展入選 (69年まで毎年)
         日本現代工芸美術展入選
1966　 陶芸家として独立
1972　第3回バロリス国際陶芸ビエンナーレ展国際名誉大賞受賞
1977 「現代美術の鳥瞰展」招待出品 (京都国立近代美術館)
1986 「日本の前衛 1910－1970」出品(ポンピドーセンター 　パリ)
1989　愛知県立芸術大学助教授就任
1989　常滑から設楽にアトリエを移す
1992　ウエストミシガン大学にてワークショップ(アメリカ　ミシガン州)
　　 　 愛知県立芸術大学教授就任
1993　日本陶磁協会賞受賞
1994　スクリップス大学にてワークショップ(アメリカ　カリフォルニア州)
        「国際現代陶芸展－今日のうつわと造形」(愛知県陶磁資料館)
      　設楽から上矢作(岐阜)にアトリエを移す

Ryoji Koie
1938     Born in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture
1957     Graduated from Aichi Prefectural Tokoname High School,
           Department of Ceramics
           Joined Japan Tile Block Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (until 1961)
1961     Worked at the Tokoname City Ceramics Research Institute
1962     Contemporary Japan Ceramics Exhibition
1966     Retired from the Tokoname City Ceramics Institute and became independent as a potter
1967     Asahi Ceramics Exhibition
1971     Joined Tokoname Zoku Group
1972     Built a new kiln in Okujo Tenjiku, Tokoname City
           Winner of the 3rd Vallauris International Ceramics Biennale International
           Honorary Grand Prize
1989     Moved the studio to Shitara-cho, Kita-Shitara-gun, Aichi Prefecture
           Appointed as an associate professor at Aichi Prefectural University of Arts
1992     Professor, Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts,
           Aichi Prefectural University of Arts (until 2003)
1993     Japan Ceramic Society Award
1994     Moved his studio to Kamiyahagi, Ena-gun, Gifu Prefecture
2001     Winner of the 3rd Oribe Prize
2005     China-Japan Culture Prize
2008     Japan Ceramic Society Gold Prize
2010     Workshop at Bernard Leach's studio in St. Ivis, England
2020     Passed away
